Why Do I like Mayonaise So Much?

Well girls, it's about time for me to get back into a work-out lifestyle change. I only have one more week of working crazy hours and then I'm back to my regular stay-at-home-mom-who-only-works-one-evening-a-week person. It'll be a welcome change.
Here's the big plan as it stands now: Of course, I want to keep my walking routine up. I am hoping my friends will still have me since I've been working and gone so much this summer, it'll be nice to get back into that routine.
HOWEVER, the big plan is portion control. I eat like a mad woman -- WAY too much my peeps. So, I am now eating off Conner's plates (which are like 8 or 9 inches), I get one serving, and that's it... and 1/4 of the plate at LEAST needs to be vegetables. I hate feeling over-full and I feel it too often. Anyway, I really need to work on this, and I think it'll help a lot of my problems. I should also never go to Utah again -- because I think I gained a bit o' weight while I was there.
Anyway... that's my big plan. Anyone else have plans now that the school year is almost here?

  1. It is one of my general rules that I cut off feeding my face at 7:30 pm..but I've been slipping this summer. I vow here and now to do better at cutting myself off. Oh and I'm going to drink lots and lots of water.

  2. My problem is the opposite, I've been taking this water workout class all summer and it's been awesome! All the fresh summer veggies and fruits have made my weight loss goals a nearer reality than I ever thought possible. I'm worried about what will happen when my workout class with my friends is over and the yumminess of creamy soups and delicous breads starts filling the air!! ARGH! Putting a plan in motion NOW will be key...portion control and LOTS of water....those are great ideas, thanks!

  3. I'm totally with you. Gotta get the baby weight off for real this time around. I'm totally copying your salad/walking plan. (As I stuff my face with my third chocolate chip cookie of the day).

  4. yummmmmm....mayonaise is sooo good! Hilary, I want to loose my baby weight, so lets start working out together. Do you have a gym pass?
