Me and my Groin

So, I woke-up this AM and I could NOT move my leg. It'd been giving me pain all night long when I tried to turn, but I figure when I woke-up and stretched it out I'd be fine.
I wasn't fine.
I couldn't sit down.
And, frankly -- sitting down is the first thing I do every morning, at least since I had kids.... if you know what I mean.
So, it was me, some ibuprophen, and my heating bad on my bed for 30 minutes, and by then I could just BARELY move it.
Now, I may have overdone it a bit yesterday. I worked-out for 40 minutes, did a baby photo session (which is mostly in a squat position) and then went-out and sprayed for weeds after I got the kids in bed (which also involves a bit of squatting) but I don't think it's any more then usual.
The thing that hurt the most was rotating my leg to the outside.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Lucky, LUCKY me -- I probably won't miss any workouts since it'll heal by the time I get-up at 6 am on Monday.


  1. When I was pregnant with Sophie, I slipped and fell and it was awful. I definitely pulled my groin, adn for the first day I couldn't walk AT ALL. It was so painful. Then the rotating it to the outside thing killed for pretty much the rest of my pregnancy...

    ...hope yours feels better quick!!!

  3. My sis is suffering from the same thing right now, she just had a baby and is working out tooo hard and pulled her muscle, Brandon is actually treating her for it, my advice is to take it easy.

  4. I haven't ever had that problem - but I just have to say OUCH! for you and hope you feel better soon.
