Some happy little News

So, this morning was weigh-in and measurement day. It's not usually a happy day, but I do have a little bit of happy news. Now, the body measurements have been a month since they were done, and on my waist I lost 3 inches, hips I lost half an inch, I gained 1.25 inches on my chest (? -- I think that my chest is probably the hardest place for me to measure... I'm guessing that it's pretty much the same), lost .5 on my calf, gained on my bicep (?) and the royal bummer is my scale is saying that I have almost 3% MORE body fat. That's not the happy news, but I won't particularly go into how I feel about my scale's body fat function. However it did tell me that I lost almost a pound last week. Well, actually 1.2 pounds for a sucky ground total of 4.2 pounds in a month and 2.5 inches, not the best figures -- but I'll take what I can get. :)
It's definitely making me feel better about all the painful calorie counting. Becky, I am still considering weight watchers... I am thinking that might make the calorie counting easier, but so far my little internet thing is working for me.
Go team.
WAIT, hold the presses, after further evaluation from the initial time I was weighed in the doctor's office (that started my whole calorie counting thing) til' now I've apparently lost 6.4 pounds. Which isn't too shabby at all for a month. I'd hoped to lose 8 per month -- but honestly if I drop below the big 200 line this next month, you'll totally be seeing a happy dance.
BTW, Happy National Scrapbooking Day!!!! Hence the new slideshow. And yes, I'm fancy.

  1. I so don't know what you're talking about. That is big news. And it's very exciting. And you should definitely do the happy dance now.

If nothing else, you'll burn a couple calories. :)
