Stickin' to the plan

Babywise moms (and dads) tell me about your "night"? You know, the one where your sweet little bundle of joy slept through. P has been getting up between 2:30 and 3:30 almost every night since she was born and somehow I just can't envision how it will happen. I can't remember what the other boys did. Did they just increase the time they were sleeping, or did they just sleep all night once? I think I'm getting old.

But perhaps hearing some of your stories will give me new hope. Thanks so much!

  1. Hi Hilary!
So, I followed Babywise for my last two kids. If I remember right, both would go to bed after a feeding at around 10:30, then wake up around 2ish or so for awhile, then one wonderful day they just started sleeping until about 5 or 6. It seems like that happened at around 10 weeks. It seems like P might be a little young to be sleeping through the night yet. I hope you're doing well!

  2. I always thought 5 hours was through the night as long as they just ate and went back to sleep. Then by at latest 3 months the night feeding would skip.

  3. The Babywise schedule always helped with my boys during the day. Not much at night. Jacob didn't sleep through the night (consistently) until he was 10 months old and Daniel didn't until he was 7 months old.

But, like I said, it was wonderful to have a schedule during the day that worked and was predictable and for that I love BabyWise.
