A TMI Sidenote

I was just changing a diaper, when I realized I didn't mention that newborns are NOT supposed to have a fever. Their immune systems are too darn new. Anything up to about 6 months, I worry a lot about with fever.
Don't just bythely give the babe tylenol. Take the temperature a better way (I'm talking rectal, if you really suspect a fever, to see how high -- and if we're talking a newborn) and then call your doctor.
Also, if you don't know the cause you might want to call your doctor.
Most of the time I write these posts I worry about getting sued.
I really don't think a mom will take my advice wrong, but you never know....
Again, check with your doctor.
