    So frustrating! Raising children can be challenging.

    My thoughts as I read your last few posts are, “Why is he mad at you?” If this really is the reason he is stealing. If he is stealing because he is mad, wouldn’t restricting him make him madder.

    I like the suggestion of trying to provide and reward situations where he displays trust.

    I haven’t had to much of a problem but occasionally my kids will take a treat. I make sure that when we have that particular item as a family that person isn’t allowed to have any. I remind them that they don’t get it because they already had it. Natural consequences seem to work well with my kids.
