As another poster mentioned different parts probably different planting schedules. But how different? I am coming from the north east, VERY DIFFERENT LOL. and finding information for Arizona is difficult as most think it's impossible. This post was a blessing! Would it only differ depending on high desert or low desert? Say Scottsdale? I look forward to more of your posts!

Help, help, help. I moved to Arizona nearly 3 years ago. I can't seem to get my garden going due to flippen bunnies and ground squirrels. They eat everything. I was able to grow cantaloupe from seeds last year into beautiful adult plants with flowers. Came out one morning to everything gone to the nub. Tears, tears, and more tears. I have tried everything. Otc repellents of every kind, fences, covers, I even bought a cat. Nothing works.

I’m in the town of Maricopa, I believe it’s the same planting region for the valley. I just planted my seeds in cups. I bring them out in the day and take them in at night. 80 degrees in Jan/Feb is sure going to throw a wrench in gardening this year, I think. I didn’t have a whole lot of luck with buying plants last year, so this year I’m going all in ....and planted seeds. The weather here is mostly extreme and I have yet to perfect my garden. I’m using various sources to identify when to plant, yours seems to be a tad later then ones I was finding. I’m really at a loss at what and when, but this winter is spring like weather so I just decided to use my resources and wing it...here’s to hoping we all have a harvest season here in AZ! Any other tips/tricks or ideas you have, please share! Thank you for the information.
