[…] Dressing Your Truth. My husband got me this one year (find out your “Energy Type” for free here) and it has truly made a HUGE difference in my life. It’s changed how I view my kids, my clothes and how I interact with others. This isn’t just a fashion program. It’s a new life. For only $100 bucks I have found it to be 100% worth it (although I am an affiliate for them now, I bought it on my own at a time when I REALLY needed a little guidance as to why I wanted to be — you can read all about my journey here). I'm totally not into fashion either, but it has pulled me out of a slump. :) I mostly like what I'm noticing about myself now that the gashion is "under control. " :)

I think the idea is to have "more substantial" jewlery. I have an instagram shot from the weekend, and the necklace is more substantial than my regular -- but probably "normal" for most people. :) Check out my instagram shot and tell me what you think! I should try a scarf, I'm not sure I'm ready for it. :) https://instagram.com/p/2zRfYlTE6S/?taken-by=pulling_curls

So I am not familiar with this course but I am intrigued to the point that I'll probably buy the book. Needless to say in a huge clothes horse and even though I now have a child at home I still love to shop. That being said I have a background in fashion and also work in an office so cute clothes are a priority for me. I don't get some of these rules though. Some of those items don't work for certain body types. For example pointy shoes only? Chunky jewelry? Maybe I'll get it more after reading into this concept further.

I did want to mention that if you are going to try something with your fashion choices start small. For example, for animal print try a shoe, belt, or even headband. I live the leopard print because it seems to go with everything. As for pointy shoes go with a neutral color like brown, black or navy. And the chunky necklace, if it's not something you are used to also try a neutral color or something in your favorite color. Oh and if you aren't sure of scarves I like to wear them long. And if you dont want to spend a lot of money Walmart actually has a great selection. They sell infinity scarves in sets of 2 for $5. So you can get 3 sets for the price of one at a department store and 5 sets for the price of 1 at a higher end store.

Good luck with your shopping!
