What a fun trip! Thanks for sharing about your hotel experience. I love hearing when others have found something that works awesome for them!

My 2 Sisters took me to Disneyland for my Birthday a few years ago. We stayed at the Holiday Inn & Suites. It was about a 15 to 20 minute walk to Disneyland. (really not bad at all if your in shape and do not mind walking this far.) It seemed we got there quickly. Knotts Berry Farm was just up the street from Disneyland, I could see it crossing the street to disney park. MacDonalds is right across the from street disneyland, but lines where long. The hotel has morning breakfast for yah as well; as a snack gift shop.
The pool was nice and not crowded too often, most people where at Disney. We really enjoyed our stay here and felt it was worth the trip! Enjoy!

We did navigate one bathroom pretty easily, but I do get up at the crack of dawn, so that helps. I love that about Paradise pier, it's still a bit of a walk as far as I hear...

I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn Marriott, the Camelot, and Paradise Pier. The Marriott was nice inside (6 years ago), but it is as far as I would want to stay and walk. Plus side, Panera is in the parking lot.

Camelot had a lot of room in the family suite, but it's 6 people sharing one bathroom. That can be rough in the morning. It was super dated when we stayed a couple of years ago, but it is newly renovated now.

Paradise Pier was fun to stay at a Disney property. When we stayed we just cut through Grand California to get to Downtown Disney or even straight into California Adventure. I don't think they let you do that anymore, as it was several years ago. I did enjoy that our room overlooked the World of Color so we got to watch the show and then climb into bed.
