While I planned plenty of meals last week, I wanted to share some of the Five Star ones that we tried:
- Sausage Barley Soup 12 points This time, insteazd of spinach I added a can of tomatoes and it was delicious. Also, a 12 points serving is at least 2 bowls… I was very happy with a 6 point serving.
- Carrot Cake Pan cakes 7 points The only thing a little bit missing was some sweetness… I think I might throw a little more brown sugar in next time, but these are hearty delicious pancakes. We actually had them for breakfast on Saturday and they kept us all going for a while.
- Meatball Sub Casserole — 15 points (ouch) Again, a GIANT serving for 15 points. I had a smaller serving and saved myself 5 or so points. If you like a meatball sub though, you’ll like this. GREAT way to use up leftover french bread!
