Hi I appreciate your honesty. I liked Noom I really did but going through a bad menopause life change I found it difficult. I seem to have lost my short term memory. I found a lot of reading with Noom and because my memory failed me I'd not be able to pass there quizzes which made me feel like an idiot. Too bad.

Weight loss is a huge struggle and as female's I think it gets harder for us. I know there's no magic pill just keep working on it.

I signed up for Noom and after just one week, I canceled, I liked the modules we did in the beginning but honestly, the cost was outrageous. I didn’t like the automatic renewal without notification. At $149 for 6 months…ok… doable, then $93 came in for extras plus $139.50 every single month automatically renewed for a coach of 1x a week . Not worth it. If you want to track, weigh ins etc…. There are good programs out there that don’t cost hundreds of dollars.

I appreciate this and completely agree! I think for most of us if Noom wasn’t the first stop on our diet journey, it’s a lot of repeating information we already know. The biggest benefit is regularly tracking all your food. But you can get that for free on the Lose it! Or MyFitnessPal apps. I was hoping for more plate editing, dietician advice for my fitness level and body type (because they ask all those questions) but it was a very cookie-cutter “did you know your mind and body are connected?” Kind of “advice”. But for the price, it’s not a bad place to begin. I’ll be hiring a macro coach soon, but that won’t be $19/mo!
