My laundry room is in o e of my bathrooms. I have a couple kitchen wall cabinets and one is used for extra shampoo,soap,detergent,etc, the other for towels.

I love this! Functional and organized. Often times I find myself disappointed that my rooms don’t look “pin-worthy”, but that’s because it’s normal! Great post! Thanks for sharing 🙂

In reply to Gael. Oh man. our last house it was in the garage, so bringing it into the house was a big step up for me. I love all the storage, but I know that baskets and bins will not be the most effective way to use it.

So glad to see a laundry room I can relate to! I think most of us have glorified walk-in closets for laundry rooms. Thanks for the reality check that you just need a place for everything and things in their place and not matching bins with matching labels. In my last house in Texas I had a laundry room that was bigger than the smallest bedroom in this house. That was before the boom of the over-decorated laundry rooms complete with chandeliers. Yes, they are lovely, but really? Even if I had one, I’d still want help folding, and that means out to the couch it all goes.

Looks great! My new house has loads of storage in the laundry, so it’ll have to be multi-purpose storage in there! I like your areas…they’ll help me sort!
