Phone Charging: Charge My Obsession

I have an phone charging obsession, especially when I am away from home.

I’m not very good and conserving resources in my ACTUAL phone, I just like to see them above 50% all the time {I also try to keep my gas tank over 50%, so it’s likely I have a “thing”}.  Here’s my 5 favorite accessories for keeping my phone charged at all times. {and in all things, and in all places}.  GO.

1.  A Mini Portable Charger — this one is small, and lightweight.  It comes a small micro USB with it to attach easily to your phone.  It carries about one full charge.  It charges at the normal rate, but I love how small it is.  So cute and tiny.  Like a little newborn charger.

2.  A charging station.  We found ours at Goodwill {are you surprised?} — and they have them ALL. THE. TIME.  which would make you think that they aren’t useful.  But they totally are.  I love mine!

3.  A charger with several ports.  Now, as fun as it would be, to have a power strip back there with 6 chargers coming off of it — it’s much easier to have a usb charger with several ports in the back.  This one is super handy.  It has 2 for our tablets and 3 for phones {but you can plug either into each one, 2 are just stronger}.  Mind you, if you have devices plugged into each port- – they will charge slower, but if you only have 2 or 3 it charges like a dream.

4.  A larger portable charger.  I have this one.  It can charge a LOT and it saved our bacon on that band trip I went on — when the bus broke down and the directors were all calling each other.  Anyway, it saved us.  It can do at least 3 full charges, it can also charge my tablet fairly well and I just feel safer knowing I own it.  Don’t you?

5.  Spare Batteries.  I have learned my lesson, and we actually only buy name brand or Anker of these things anymore.  I swear the other brands, you might as well just stick your money in and try to run your phone off that.  I love having a spare on me when I travel.  You never know when you’ll need a full charge and won’t be by an outlet.

Anyway, those 5 things help my obsession with keeping my phone charging.  I am trying to be better about “close all” when I am done using my phone.  Does anyone else have any battery tricks they use?  Have a brand of battery power you love?  Tell me!  TELL ME NOW! 😀
