Here is some new stuff for you. No trigger toys are allowed in. So those cute Disney bubble blowers, yeah they don’t even sell them anymore. (I have heard you can still bring in a spray bottle with a fan on it). Also, be prepared to not just have your bag searched, but to go through some metal detectors as well.

The popular selfie sticks are not allowed at Disney parks. Many folks are not aware of this so it causes quite a delay going through the security bag checks. They will not allow you to take it in. You will not get through security even if you promise it will remain in the bag. You’re only choices are to toss it or return to your car/hotel.

It’s crazy how much has changed even since this post came out! There’s always little things here and there and then of course there are BIG things like the announcement of a new Star Wars-themed land coming to Disneyland. But that’s kinda one thing I love about Disneyland, it’s always getting better! Thanks for the tips and for nudging people to do a little research when they haven’t been in a while so they can be better prepared. By the way, Paint the Night (the new nighttime parade) is amazing! I highly recommend you stay late and check it out.

From a fellow CDO-ER, I love this idea! I keep my tees on a shelf, but I do a similar thing by having a short-sleeve stack, a long-sleeve stack, and a cami/tank stack. I put my less-fav shirts on the bottom, until I finally decide I’m over it and pass it on. I keep all my work clothes in a separate stack, to which some of my less-fav tees replace when the others need to be pitched.
