Today was my first day that it was hard to get up. I’d walked a lot at work yesterday and I ate some crappy stuff and I was tired.
But, I got up. I don’t want to miss my zombies, after all.
Last week was alright. I built up some stamina and I felt good about it.
This week is a little weird. They have you do ‘fast walk/slow walk” drills, and then some running drills and THEN a free form run — for 15 minutes.
Today I actually ran for about 10 minutes before I had to stop. I may have been able to run a bit more. I walked for a small while, maybe a minute and then a ran the rest of the way. I’m almost to a 5k, which is really exciting.
I am still running under 5 MPH. That, somehow, makes me not happy. I’d like to run faster. Does that seem like I should? I have no idea. I’m also annoyed by the songs I have on my playlist so I’m working over that too.
I also want to take a nap almost every time I am running. My lower abs are getting quite a workout. As for weight loss, I’ve gained a pound. I don’t know what the deal is. I’m watching what I eat and just eating until I’m full. I’m not sure.
I do know this is changing my body, so that’s good. I just wish it was changing it to be smaller.
