I am on to week two with the Zombie 5K app.
The first week you did a 10 minute walk, followed by 15 seconds of running and 1 minute of walking (repeat that run/walk cycle 10 times) and then a 10 minute “free form” walk. I try to run on the chorus of the songs. Sometimes I’m more successful then others.
This week (week 2) it’s a 10 minute walk followed by 30 seconds of running, 5 heel lifts, one minute of walking (repeat that 5 times) and then a 10 minute free form walk.
A good friend looks great, and is following a green smoothie for breakfast, and then eating sensible the rest of the day. I’m trying it, it seems to be working. We’ll see.
I do really like the running part, mostly because of the app. I like that it tells me what to do, it’s methodical with a somewhat good story (I wish there was more story, but I think they go low on the story during the 5k app). I look forward to it, so far.
My toes go numb about 1 mile into it. Not sure what’s causing that, it does go away as soon as I’m home. I need to pay more attention to it, and a few people mentioned maybe my shoes are too tight. Imagine that, Hilary with her shoes too tight!
After I get home I try to do some squats, arms and abs exercises as well as stretching. I was somewhat sore last week, and I don’t see me being as sore this week.
And that is all.
Do you like to run?
