Hi Hilary,

For small gifts like toys cars, watches, electronics, I prefer to wrap them in an old bag or rug and put them at the back of any rack in the fridge or pantry. Obviously, take into account the temperature guidelines of the product. Children are less likely to probe through anything looking to be old. New things interest them more than old ones.

Thanks.

I leave ours in their Amazon boxes and then just put them in the storage of the basement with the other boxes of stored stuff. Haha. I will probably start stashing them all in the Christmas bins when I get the Christmas decorations out.

I stashed presents in the laundry room today... my tots cant get in there on their own so the laundry room might as well be a present vault ;) Yesterday I hid other presents in the playroom closet, it was risky but it paid off bc I had the perfect place to wrap them once they went to bed. I think presents are way easier to hide if you just have toddlers, I'm sure ill be hiding them at my in-laws' in years to come.

We like gifting experiences too (groupon & living social are great for that), especially as the kids grow up and they're not at home to play with STUFF as much and their main interest becomes electronics and hanging with friends anyway.
