We signed ours up at the precious age of two for swim lessons at our local YMCA because we like to vacation on cruises and at the ocean and we wanted her to be comfortable around water. She just swam her first season on the swim team as a five year old!

I never learned how to swim but I am intent on my children mastering this skill. Thank you for sharing this and I will certainly look into intensive lessons!!
