This was wonderful to read! Reminded me of my 3 year old son who woke up sick not one morning but two separate mornings a month apart and the first thing he says to me through tears is, "Pray mama, let's pray." So we did and within hours he was 100% back to normal. It was one of those fever sicknesses that I dreaded would linger all week long but he was healed. This was a miracle from God to a child with faith like I've never known! I asked him if he believed God would heal him and he said, "Yes! and he did!"

This is heartwarming! Sometimes you just have to pray. I recently wrote a post about teaching toddlers about Jesus in hopes of raising a daughter that will do just that, pray when she feels things are out of her hands (and when they are not). Check is out over at http://www.mathmomwithablog.com/?p=462 Thanks for a sweet read!

Thank you for sharing this sweet story! I remember answered prayer like this when I was a child and it was such a huge boost to my faith. May God bless you and your family.

Yes, I agree. That girl will pray at any moment for anything. Me... not so much. :)

As an adult losing something, I generally rely on myself first (retrace my steps, make phone calls, etc., etc.) before thinking to pray. Maybe that's why kids often get answers like that- b/c they drop everything and have pure faith. I love it when my kids have experiences like that, because it's something they can look back on through the years as something they KNOW FOR SURE when everything seems to be chaotic.
