I obsessively pour over the name indexes to chart popularity of names. I refuse to name my kids a top 10 name. I note names that are on the uptick in case I happen to choose Ava right on the way to exploding, as well as taking into account the historical data.

I'm such a dork.

Congratulations! I totally agree that pregnancy should be thought of as a blessing, not something to belly ache over, even if it makes your belly ache!

Maybe I should have consulted you before I named Abby, which I did b/c I thought it wasn't that popular. It ended up on the top 10list the next month.

My friend at work got asked when her baby was due, and she said, "5 years ago." Love those responses. People who ask that question deserve to be embarrassed!

As for #2, go be crafty--it's good for the soul! (Plus I like to see your scrapbook pages.)

Men need to experience the pregnancy just for one day.

Man, I am trendy. I hate being trendy. Not only am I one of your friends who has a child named Sophia or Chloe, I am one of your friends who has children named BOTH Sophia and Chloe. But thanks for not making the names more popular than they already are. Although Chloe hasn't quite made it to the top 10 yet, thankfully. :)

I wish there was some anti doom and gloom pill you could take, but HEY! 3 more trips to Costco! That is sooon!
