We took our games out of boxes and store each game in a Ziploc bag, then the bags are in baskets and bins on open shelves.

I really don’t like file cabinets. I love those cubby shelves!! Mine are still a bit messy to look at but I can find stuff a lot easier than in drawers or boxes. 🙂
