I had a surge of the will to lose weight at the beginning of school, but that was tempered by going to California, and then I studied/took ACLS. It was busy.
But I’m tired of stuff not fitting right.
And I know I can do this.
The plan is to eat 25 points/day. I honestly can’t lose at 29/day. I don’t know why, but 25 is doable for me, I don’t feel starving, but it’s doable.
I will run on Mondays and Fridays, with a short toning routine courtesy of Youtube after that. On Wednesdays I will do a cardio/toning routine from my plethora of videos.
In addition, the Erickson garden is heading back into gear, so I’ve been pouring some sweat into that as well.
I have a check-up next Monday. I’m on the ball. Heck, I AM the ball. Go me!
Oh, and I read an article about walking after dinner, and I’d like to take a quick walk a night, just to wind up the ol’ metabolism before bed.
I’m hopeful that all of this will combine to make it so I can wear my scrub pants again. So far I only have a couple pair that fit right now.
And that just won’t do.
Anyone else on a weight loss kick that wants to check in with me? My goal is to lose 10 by Halloween. It’s just a goal and I won’t die if I don’t make it, but I AM hopeful. Fingers crossed.
