Today, as I drove off after dropping the kids off (I usually walk in, but some days just beg to be a drop off day) I was thinking about the day that I brought S home from the hospital and I wondered if those two would ever get along, or be friendly-like. It’s amazing how families meld together, isn’t it?
I bought 2 large packages of chicken thighs today at sprouts just because I want to make more of this recipe. It was so good. Make sure you broil it just like it says, it makes this crusty outer crust that is just divine.
Mr. C has had a LOT on his plate lately. Be it science fair or pinewood derby (which he won, go C!) or running for student body president I’m kind of getting a glimpse into what next year will be like. We’re considering putting him in an accelerated 6th grade learning atmosphere… not sure if it’s the right move, especially after this week!
Whenever you ask Miss P a question she says, “Ummmm….. ” and then blathers on about nothing I can understand. It’s so cute.
I bought too many groceries this week and while it has totally fleshed out my food storage I’m still in the negative. Not happy with myself. Trying to make it better by not shopping again til’ next week. Good luck to me. I do need an adorable new notebook for my grocery shopping lists though. NEED, did you catch that — NEED.
We’re bidding for new jobs over the next couple of weeks. It’s a lot of random union stuff but I’m still a little worried about my job. I’m mostly REALLY worried for co-workers who are having to have huge shifts in their lives. That makes me sad.
P is obsesssed with just pushing the button on her Zhu-Zhu pet. It’s amusing, I’m worried she’s going to put it in her hair. Those moms, they’re worriers….
