I love getting a good deal on groceries. Which is probably good, since my husband is a teacher and I work part time. Enter, Grocery Smarts. It’s a FREE app that will tell you all the good sales going on in your local flyers.
Here’s a few tips to make the most out of the app.
1. Get the free version. If you see an ad you can get the same thing as the paid app.
2. I have it on both my phone and my tablet and it works well on both.
3. Click “create list”, pick your state, and then to go the All-in-one premium list (by viewing an ad, you can see this).
4. Then, shrink it to just 4 and 5 star items (I use my menu button to get that option to show up). That way, you just see the good things that are on sale at good/stock up prices, along with any coupons that are available. Unless your tablet can print, the coupons only work on your desktop — so that’s something to think about. BUT, I tend to check it out on my tablet, and then if I find coupons I want to use, I use their desktop page.
Either way, it’s a free way to go through the grocery ads.
**I still go through the ads an I also scan grocery smarts in addition. I feel like sometimes there are good deals in the ad that they miss, so I’m not sure how that happens, but it does.
