I have become a big probiotics fan.
My little organic chemistry 281 mind just feels like if all the slots for bacteria are taken up with good bacteria it will leave the bad ones out.
I have done both the little yogurt drinks from Costco, as well as some pills from Amazon and some from Costco (but I really liked those Amazon ones, I would recommend them!).
I don’t think, in any way, that they are a substitute for proper eating and nutrition but when my stomach seems a little off — these are helpful.
Anyway, are they an amazing cure-all — no. But I think there are SO many ways we kill off our good bacteria — it can’t hurt to add to their numbers a bit. 🙂
Do you do probiotics? I’m starting to wonder more about essential oils… but I’m still too nervous. 🙂
