Looking to work on your family finances? There is no better way to secure the future for your family than keeping your finances on track.
In fact, simple advice is the best.
I am a big fan of not going into debt, and was somehow (skin of my teeth here) able to get my husband through graduate school without any debt.
BUT, I think the way we will be MOST successful with our finances is being transparent with each other. Which is why I shared my actual family budget. All the dollars that we spend each month.
I even did an update for the budget for our family of five.
In that same fashion I also share my actual Disneyland Budget. While that can obviously vary by how much you spend on souvenirs, etc during the day it can give you a really good idea (I also have a trip calculator that will give you some advance notice of what to expect).
Finally, I also have a post about Christmas on a budget. It is an area that families can easily lose their minds if they’re not careful. All the joy with less debt, just how I like it. :)
