I really get SO anxious after I nap.
I’m talking the deep breathing kind of you feel like the world is tightening around you kind of anxiety.
It’s only on the days I nap.
I even slept fairly well last night, but honestly — what new mom doesn’t want a nap every now and then…
Time to start booking the best hotels NOW for summer trips!
📅 My next trip is to the Anaheim Majestic, it has a FREE SHUTTLE! 🚍
❤️Other Hotels I love:❤️
– Best Western Park Place — this is the closest hotel to Disneyland (but it books up FAST)
– Cambria Hotel (GREAT one for larger parties, and I love their price)
– Courtyard Theme Park Entrance (this one has a WATER PARK and is SO CLOSE – great for the summer!)
– Residence Inn at Anaheim Resort (still close and really nice)
– The Viv (not walkable, but I LOVE this hotel and the price is nice)
– Tropicana Inn (so close, adequate — all about how close it is)
Anyone else?

That is a very interesting phenomenon: One I haven’t noticed in my own life. But, then again, I don’t usually nap. I will take notice the next time I do and let you know.
However, is this normal always? Or just since the baby came? Maybe you need more sleep than you think and this is your body’s way of letting you know.

I am always a little grumpy when I wake up from a nap…maybe a little anxious too…just realizing what I could or should have been doing instead of sleeping, which makes me frustrated…even when I know I need the sleep. I need to learn that it is ok to take a time out for myself.

I often fantasize about a nap but I very rarely get the opportunity. And if I do I usually deny myself of it because somehow I always wake up feeling worse off. It feels better to just go to bed really early.

Naps do a lot of good for me, but only when they are quick….about 30 minutes. Longer ones make me feel out of sorts and grumpy.
