I am a huge fan of a weekly cleaning schedule. It turned my life around as a working mom with babies/toddlers and I felt like I could FINALLY flop on the couch after bedtime and enjoy it! And it does involve cleaning our floors as fast and as well as possible!
Organization is key to keeping your house easy to clean and maintain. I talk about organizing the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom — I even talk about small places like organizing your medicine cabinet.
A lot of time, household tips involve just paring down. I found that kids clothes were a real challenge until I figured out how many kids clothes I really needed!
There are a lot of tricks to managing a house on a budget — we recently re-stuffed our couch and it was SUCH a money-saver (and I love that we saved all those materials from the dump).
I use a paper planner in conjunction with a lot of digital resources to keep my actual family on track.
